What are Trailblazer challenges in Forza Horizon 5 – How are they different from Speed Traps?

Forza Horizon 5 brings back everything that you have loved about previous games and has added a few new things into the mix as well to spice things up! That wasn't a Mexican food pun, by the way—Or maybe it was. Let's talk about Trailblazer challenges and how they are different from the rest.

Forza Horizon 5 brings back everything that you have loved about previous games and has added a few new things into the mix as well to spice things up! That wasn't a Mexican food pun, by the way—Or maybe it was. Let's talk about Trailblazer challenges and how they are different from the rest.

In Forza Horizon 2, 3, and 4, we encountered the likes of Speed Traps and Speed Zones, but the Trailblazer is a bit different and yet still just as simple! Cross the threshold to start a Trailblazer challenge and just get to the finishing flags on the minimap as quickly as possible!

However, the Trailblazer is about getting to your finish line while off-roading instead of maintaining speed in relatively flat and paved areas. So, speed is still the aim, dodging trees and vaulting hills in the middle of everything!

As you might expect, they are very satisfying to complete and have a Three-Star Rating attached to them, just like the Speed Traps and Danger Jumps do.

They also give you a chance to use off-road vehicles as they are more useful in this instance due to their grip. No doubt you can complete this challenge in a Bugatti Veyron just the same, but it wouldn't be as authentic, would it?
