Forza Horizon 5 may have loads more events to get through in solo mode, but sometimes you want to roll around with some buddies! Competing against each other in races is even better when you can hear your friends screaming down a headset!
The online portion of Forza Horizon is not available from the get-go—it needs to be Unlocked first. This is because there is a tutorial phase, whereby you need to complete several races before accessing the co-op modes. The online mode is now referred to as Horizon Life.

It doesn't take too long, but it will still run you about 30 minutes into the game if you play constantly. Basically, once the logo pops up on screen and says "Welcome to Horizon" after you have been introduced to everyone and done some races, that's when you can get to play with your pals!
You can do different things online, such as starting a convoy, racing rivals, and racing all your friends, so it's a good feeling when that functionality finally opens up to you!
