Battlefield 2042 features a few weapons that the player can fit with hybrid scopes. To switch between the red dot optic and the scope, press the melee button when ADS. The default melee keybind for PC is the F key, and press right stick for Playstation and Xbox.
The player can also change the optics on the fly with the new changeable attachment feature in Battlefield 2042. To open the attachment menu in-game, press T for PC, L1 for PlayStation, and LB for Xbox. Optics can then be switched on the current weapon by pressing the up directional key on PC, Triangle on PlayStation, and Y on Xbox.

It is important to note that during the Battlefield beta that was released on October 6, it is believed that the ADS system for the hybrid scope is currently bugged. Some players report not switching optics on the hybrid scope but this may be fixed by switching to a different optics attachment for a second and then returning to the hybrid scope.
The bug is expected to be patched out before the title's full release, so players should not have much of a problem switching between optics. However, the attachment system is new, so it may take some time to get used to it.
