The Vow of the Disciple Sherpa emblem in Destiny 2 is better known as the Galactic Magpie emblem. In order to get this emblem, you will have to Sherpa or carry 10 players through the Vow of The Disciple raid. This emblem is similar to the Share a Glass emblem that we saw when Vault of Glass went live with the Beyond Light update.

That said, players have been reporting an issue with this emblem. Several players have complained about not receiving the emblem, despite carrying 10 players through the raid, as noted by the Destiny Emblem Collector Twitter account. Bungie has yet to comment on this issue, but they'll address it at some point.
I’ve seen a good number of people reporting this over the past two days. If you’re completing 10 carries through VotD, you might not get the “Galactic Magpie” emblem at the moment. Hoping @bungie is looking into it https://t.co/MSHAes3toe
