One of the most appealing things about New World is that you can craft your own weapons and armor to give yourself some great gear. Some of the crafted gear in New World is better than the weapons and armor you can find early, and you can craft end-game items yourself.
See Best Gaming Deals on AmazonTo start crafting your own weapons and armor, you’ll need to find a Forge, a Workshop, or an Outfitting Station. A Forge is a Crafting Station where you can level up and use your Weaponsmithing and Armoring skills. On the map, they look like a small white Anvil and are available in every settlement and town.

Workshops are shown on the map with an arrow and a gun crossed over a circle, and Outfitting Stations are shown as a spool of thread.
Making Weapons and Armor in New World
To make a weapon, you’ll need the right crafting ingredients, to be a high enough Weaponsmithing skill level, and a high enough level Forge. Select the weapon you want to craft to check the crafting ingredients you need to make it. If you haven’t got enough just yet, don’t worry. You can find the materials either at the Trading Post or out in the wilderness.
To craft armor, you need to use the Armorer skill. You’ll again need to be a high enough level Armorer and have a high enough level forge to craft your desired item
Both Weapons and Armor are made at the forge. However, some weapons are also made at the Workshop, and certain armors are made at the Outfitting Station.
