To climb a ladder in WWE 2K22, press the R1 button (PlayStation) or RB button (Xbox) while next to a vertically placed ladder.
Once you have climbed the ladder to the top, you will have some options for your next move. If it is a ladder or Money in the Bank match, you may want to grab for the belt or briefcase to win the match. To reach up, press L1 (PlayStation) or LB (Xbox). If you are able to reach up and grab, a minigame will start to grab the belt or briefcase.

While on top of the ladder, you can also throw strikes at someone who's also on the ladder with the light and heavy attack buttons. Some Superstars can even use a finisher on the ladder or dive off the ladder. Be careful, though—opponents can knock the ladder down by rapidly pressing Square (PlayStation) or X (Xbox).
Ladders can be placed vertically to climb, leaned against the turnbuckle for more damaging attacks, or can be used as a bridge on the apron for more show-stopping moves.
