In total, there are over 214 demons present in Shin Megami Tensei V that can be both fought and recruited by the player. Once you recruit a demon, it will serve as a party companion and can level up and gain new skills.
Each of the 214 demons in the game will also have its own skill sets that differ from other demons, making each demon unique in its own right.
