There are so many items in Genshin Impact, some items used to do nothing. Then the first major game update 1.1 released, a few of these items turned into precious Ascension level items, Starconch we're looking at you! Some items players can collect are books; these can be bought from shops for some lore into the game's world. However, sometimes you'll receive a quest that you need to find a series of books!
Genshin Impact Legend of the Shattered Halberd
To complete the quest Legend of the Shattered Halberd in Genshin Impact, players must locate six books of these novels to finish the quest. In doing so, you also earn the Divine Halberd Mocks the Heaven's achievement. This is a 4-Star rated achievement, so it's worthwhile getting!
To start this quest, head to Liyue Harbor, locate the Wanwen Bookhouse, and speak to Jifang there. This bookseller will sell the first, fourth, and fifth Legend of the Shattered Halberds books, which is incredibly handy. However, the three books will cost you 9000 Mora!
For the third installment of the series, head back to Liyue and talk to the Storyteller called Tea Master Liu Su, though the time has to be after 9 AM. He will then tell you a bunch of different stories; either read them and get immersed or click through them. Eventually, he'll tell you the right story, and he will give you the third book.
The sixth book can be received by following the Bookworm Swords questline you get from Xingqui at Adventure Rank 26. After you finish this entire quest, you'll receive the final book of the series as a reward.
The second volume can be found at Wuwang Hill in the Liyue region, just teleport to the fast-travel waypoint and head towards the couple at Pop's Teas, called Hauchu and Jianqiu, and on the table they are sitting at, the second book will be there. And with this final book, the achievement Divine Halberd Mocks the Heaven's will be unlocked!
